Most people don't truly understand the deficit or the national debt. The terms are used somewhat interchangeably by the vast majority of Americans when, the fact is, they are two totally different animals.
Democrats want us to live in fear of the debt, but every economy must incur debt in order to experience growth whether it's personal economy (like a mortgage), municipal economy, state or federal.
