So, first it was carbon dioxide---something that is expelled by every human being on the planet when they exhale.
Then it was vehicle emissions---the same kind that the SUVs and private jets transporting Al Gore on his book/movie tour both generate in large quantities.
Now, Al Gore's hypocrisy hits a whole new level.

GORE: CIGARETTE SMOKING 'SIGNIFICANT' CONTRIBUTOR TO GLOBAL WARMING
Fri Sep 29 2006 09:04:05 ET
Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore warned hundreds of U.N. diplomats and staff on Thursday evening about the perils of climate change, claiming: Cigarette smoking is a "significant contributor to global warming!"
Gore, who was introduced by Secretary-General Kofi Annan, said the world faces a "full-scale climate emergency that threatens the future of civilization on earth."
Gore showed computer-generated projections of ocean water rushing in to submerge the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, parts of China, India and other nations, should ice shelves in Antarctica or Greenland melt and slip into the sea.
"The planet itself will do nicely, thank you very much what is at risk is human civilization," Gore said. After a series of Q& A with the audience, which had little to do with global warming and more about his political future, Annan bid "adios" to Gore.
Then, Gore had his staff opened a stack of cardboard boxes to begin selling his new book, "An Inconvenient Truth, The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It," $19.95, to the U.N. diplomats.

Al Gore is hoping that you have a short memory and won't pick up on the fact that he has a long, long history with the tobacco industry.
"Throughout most of my life, I raised tobacco. I want you to know that with my own hands, all of my life, I put it in the plant beds and transferred it. I've hoed it. I've dug in it. I've sprayed it, I've chopped it, I've shredded it, spiked it, put it in the barn and stripped it and sold it." (New York Newsday, February 26, 1988)
Gore also held the tobacco industry responsibe in his sister's death from lung cancer in 1984---even though he continued to take money from big tobacco for his campaigns through 1990. How did he justify this? Simple...
"Sometimes, you never fully face up to things that you ought to face up to."
Really? You mean...like...hypocrisy, Mr. Vice President?
Al Gore seems to care about one thing, and it's not the environment. Why else would he have his minions open boxes of books to sell to UN diplomats at twenty bucks a pop? Al Gore cares about making enough money to promote the cause of Al Gore. It's why he's gotten into cable. It's why he's published another book. It's why he's in a movie.
Hmmm...why would someone want that much publicity or to be involved in several different media outlets? I wonder... ;)
Al Gore's decision on his future plans--the topic the folks at the UN were really interested in--really depends on one thing. He'll be "considering his options" until Voldemort decides what she's doing. In the mean time, he's doing what he can to remain relevant in some fashion.
