Conservative Blogger: Keyboard Cowards...

It never fails.

A few times a week, I get an email from some cowardly Liberal who doesn't have the stones to argue anything on substance. Here's the email I got through the website on Friday:

Why doesn't your "blog" have comments enabled on your stupid postings so people can tell you what they really think?

Personally, I don't have time to moderate comments to keep things like spam and trolls off my website. The easiest way to do that is to have people send me comments in email---like the one this idiot took the time to fill out and submit. They had a prime opportunity to tell me exactly what they thought, and chickened out.

So, I replied back to quintosol234@yahoo.com to tell them they had the floor and to fire away and this is the reply I got back---the one I knew I'd get (emphasis added):

Hey, there's a big shock.

Honestly, I couldn't care any less about what people like this think. I hear from people with substantive disagreement all the time and I respect their opinions. Spineless keyboard cowards like these aren't people I have time for and the last thing I want is for them to gain some kind of recognition on my website.

So, to the nameless, faceless keyboard coward who sent that lovely gem of email:
Congratulations. You've accomplished absolutely nothing. You don't know how to advance what you believe through actual debate, so you'd rather hurl insults and leave anonymous comments. I know you're a user on the San Antonio Independent School District. I shudder to think that you're possibly teaching young minds. If you've got something to say, fill out the feedback form and have the backbone to leave your real email address.
