ConservativeBlogger.com provides analysis and commentary from a Conservative perspective. I'm not a professional columnist or talk show host. I'm not selling books. I'm not running anyone's campaign for public office. I'm an average person with opinions, ideas, and a passion for discussion and debate. I receive no compensation for the writing and opinions on this site, and the time put into the work here is my own. There is no advertising on this site and the monthly bill for the hosting of ConservativeBlogger.com comes out of my own paycheck earned in my chosen career, after taxes, of course.
Despite what you may believe, there is a passion and energy that drives Conservatism. The values and tenets of Conservatives and Republicanism are not practiced only by aging, gray-haired men in politics.
Conservatives are in your everyday life. They're people you know and respect. They're your neighbors, friends, and people you do business with. Conservative is not a terrible word, and neither are those who believe in Conservative principles.
Part of what makes America great is our ability to speak our minds, and our tendency to engage in open debate. In a nation where there's nothing so dangerous that it can't be talked about, the voice of the everyday person tends to get lost among the talking heads and the professional pundits. If the American Government is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people, then ours is the most important voice of all. How we choose to exercise that voice is up to each of us as individuals.
Your comments are welcome, as well as your divergent viewpoints. Thank you for stopping by, and welcome to ConservativeBlogger.com.
